The gym access is actually useful too — not some cramped afterthought with two broken machines, but proper equipment that couples seem to appreciate for morning workouts together. The kitchen is fully equipped, which matters more than you’d think when you want to grab groceries from the local markets and make breakfast without paying resort prices.

Location Perks

The location in Palenque puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to Tulum’s action but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the chaos of the hotel zone every single day. You can actually bike to the beach clubs and cenotes pretty easily — I’d say it’s about a 10-minute ride to most of the spots you’ll want to hit. What I really appreciated was being able to walk to local restaurants where the prices don’t make your eyes water, you know what I mean?   The space was ample, the bed was comfortable, and we loved the common pool and the lush scenery around the pool. The concierge, Cesar, is very thoughtful and quick to respond. Good value for what we paid. Plenty of parking and safe area. I would come back, depending upon the improvements they are willing to make (see below).

  Réservation de dernière minute, après avoir vadrouillé 10 jours dans le Yucatan. je recherchais pour ma fille ado et moi, un établissement sécurisé au calme pas loin du centre de Tulum (15-20 min à pied du centre). J’ai vu juste avec Amena, une belle surprise. L’appartement est au dernier étage avec une chambre et une terrasse (rooftop + piscine privée) accessible depuis le balcon de l’appart). Nous n’avons pas été déçue de voir cet appartement élégant, fonctionnel dans une résidence charmante et sécurisée. Une belle et grande piscine commune est entourée de palmiers et de grandes plantes ! La végétation est luxuriante 😉 cela donne de la fraîcheur. Les parties communes sont décorées et entretenues avec soin (malgré la pluie le vent, certains jours!) Il ne manque rien dans l’appartement, la cuisine est très fonctionnelle (2 grandes bouteilles d’eau d’accueil déjà au frais). Le vrai frigo/congélateur est un vrai plus ! Nous avons aimé la grande table du salon et ses chaises, le must un canapé d’angle convertible, qu’on laissait ouvert le soir devant nos films Netflix ! (Grande TV HD). J’ai bien aimé la porte coulissante de la chambre qui donne sur le salon, on peut également accéder à la chambre depuis couloir de l’entrée. Belle salle de bain, grande douche à l’italienne. Mention spéciale aux hôtes Eve et Lean qui ont été gentils et disponibles sur whats app du début jusqu’à la fin du séjour. Leurs tips (soirées, activités, location…) sont envoyés également par whats app (ils ont tout compris ! C’est le meilleur moyen de communiquer avec les locataires). Je ne terminerai pas mon commentaire sans parler du personnel de la résidence, ils sont aux petits soins, ils sont toujours présents pour nous aider (merci Jésus !). Je reviendrais sans aucun doute et nous prendrons le plus grand appartement de la résidence et sa grande piscine 😉
