The suites here are these gorgeous, minimalist spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Caribbean perfectly. What I really appreciated was how they’ve incorporated natural materials throughout — lots of warm wood and stone that makes you feel connected to the jungle and ocean rather than sealed off from them. The spa is actually built into the natural landscape, and you can hear the waves during your treatment, which sounds cheesy but works beautifully.

Location and Beach Access

The hotel scored an 8.5 for location, and after spending time here, I totally get why. You’re positioned in what locals consider the sweet spot of Tulum’s hotel zone — close enough to bike into town (about 15 minutes) but right in the heart of the best beach area. The stretch of sand here is wider than what you’ll find closer to the ruins, and the water has this amazing turquoise color that changes throughout the day. Plus, there’s free parking if you decide to rent a car and explore the cenotes or other beaches along the coast.

Dining and Daily Rhythms

Breakfast here is American-style, which might sound boring, but they do it really well — think fresh tropical fruits, perfectly cooked eggs, and coffee that’s actually worth drinking. What I loved was eating on the terrace with the ocean breeze, watching the beach come alive as the day starts. The restaurant focuses on fresh, local ingredients, and you can taste the difference. Dinner service has this relaxed elegance that fits Tulum perfectly — you’re dressed up but your feet are still in the sand, you know?

Why Guests Love It

Couples especially seem to fall for this place — they rated the location 8.6 for romantic trips, and I can see why. There’s something about the combination of luxury amenities and that laid-back Tulum vibe that just works for romance.   Pros: Convenient location. Excellent and aesthetic facilities. Bicycles available at no extra cost. Spacious room with ocean view, outside terrace, and rooftop plunge pool. A/C was working greatly. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Friendly and attentive staff–Javier (front desk), Javier (beach bar), and Christian and July (guest services) were particularly exceptional. Food and drinks (from Maresias, as we didn't try Ocumare) were great. The beach area was clean and smooth (compared to other areas of Tulum where the beach is rocky and rough), with excellent DJ/music. Despite some similarities, we liked it better than its sister hotel, Nomade (where we went for lunch one day).

  I loved everything and I know this might sound weird but not having a tv, stereo or a clock in the rooms made everything better no news to be stressed about just a very calming feeling and solitude and no kids THE BEST VACATION EVER

  Overall it was nice. The ambience was amazing. However at the end upon checking out at the reception, they almost charged us of consuming multiple beverages from the fridge in our previous room ( we switched rooms).
  We never took anything from the fridge during our entire stay. It’s either the cleaning people consumed the beverages or they just sneakily put it in your tab just to see if you noticed the charged. Luckily we checked the bill. If we didn’t they would’ve charged us for something we never took. So check the bill always.
