The beach clubs are easily accessible, and you know what? Sometimes you want options beyond just your hotel’s pool area.

The room I stayed in had this perfect balance of comfort and local character — think modern amenities but with those gorgeous Mexican textiles and natural materials that make you remember where you are. The air conditioning actually works well, which might sound basic but trust me, in Tulum’s humidity, it’s everything. What surprised me was how quiet it gets at night; you’d expect more noise being so centrally located, but the property design really buffers sound effectively.

Some days you want the livelier atmosphere, other days you prefer something more chill, and having options built into your stay is pretty smart. I mean, this isn’t a massive resort with seventeen pools and a golf course, but that’s actually part of its charm — it feels more intimate and manageable.

  Let's start with the beautiful sustainable design. As an interior architect, it was a lovely retreat. I met the designer Sam during my stay and learned more about the design of this special eco-friendly project. I highly recommend staying here for at least one night. It's a small hotel, but very pleasant. I wanted a getaway from work, but I couldn't help myself from studying its design details! Wonderful!
  
  It's designed with bamboo in an organic architectural style where you feel very much connected to nature. They even have a small natural cenote that they preserved when digging up the property during construction. The room design is perfect. Very relaxing, functional, and comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet too. A rare find in Tulum. Perfect mix between modern, authentic, natural and luxurious.
  
  Their bathroom faucet even has a mix between the stainless steel faucet and bamboo! The architect Ivo Popov did a great job in translating the designer's vision into a highly functional and beautiful architecture. Salute! I'd love to come again!
  
  They had some snacks inside the room which was a nice surprise along with glass water bottles – way to go to keep your guests hydrated and nourished during their stay! And the breakfast was delicious too. 10/10!!

  Just had the best stay ever! Check-in and check-out were a breeze, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The staff were amazing—so attentive and kind. My room? Absolutely stunning and spotless. Five stars all the way!

  I absolutely loved staying at the Kan Hotel! Wow what a unique stay! From the Cenote with a waterfall in the middle of the hotel to our very own private Infiniti pool which we could see through sliding glass doors from the comfort of our bed! We really enjoyed the staff they had very good recommendations on places to go and things to do. I really enjoyed the food and drinks at the hotel! They were reasonably priced and very fresh and delicious! I got a watermelon cocktail that I couldn’t get enough of! My husband and I shared an amazing Cesar salad on top of toast several times. I also really loved the pork belly I got for dinner and my husband liked his skirt steak tacos! For breakfast I had the thickest piece of French toast I had ever seen with blueberry compote and eggnog on top! My husband got a Poblano pepper omelet. For lunch we had a poke bowl and burrata toast! We were able to communicate with the front desk on WhatsApp for room service, tour bookings, taxis, anything we needed. During our stay we met the owner and really enjoyed our conversation with him! He is very passionate about the hotel he has built. He is a design guy and put a lot of thought and effort into the design of the buildings. He is very welcoming and grateful and humble. There is a speak easy at the resort which was fun. The rooftops are amazing for sunrise or sunset. There are little pools on the top as well you can swim in. Great view of the jungle from the top. Every morning at 9am there is a yoga class which we participated in and really enjoyed. I could go on and on but rather just trust me and quickly book this spot before it’s sold out!

  This hotel was so beautiful, with very nice boutique design. The whole property was our most favorite place in Tulum! It has a great jungle vibe.
  There is a cenote in the hotel territory. We had our private pool as well.
