  This place is amazing !! We had such a great time!The hotel, the room and the beach club, were incredible! And the work they did on the decoration is really beautiful and so cosy. Such a relaxing place to stay as a couple! We ate many times in the restaurant because the food was so amazing, specially the breakfast! For us definitely the best in town! Try the avocado toast or the special French toast with the local honey! Little tips, take your breakfast in front of the beach on a sun bed 🙂 Thanks to all the staff! Everybody was so nice and attentive to our need.

  Lovely property set in the jungle with private access to the beach. We saw lots of birds, lizards and a coati over the three days we were there! The twin queen room with the beach view was really comfortable. We didn't have a mirror in the room but when we asked they brought a full length freestanding mirror which was perfect. The included breakfast was absolutely huge and good quality. All the staff were beyond helpful and friendly. I also liked the smoothies in the coffee shop. You can rent bikes and pretty much cycle to anywhere in Tulum with the cycle paths.

  How much a bottle of water cost this hotel 1$ maybe!? When asked to have a bottle of drinking water in the room the reception said we already sent it to you for today the next will cost! I was shocked! A complimentary bottle of water for 600$ per night room wouldn’t hurt PPO

  Papaya Playa is a great place with an incredible staff. Yasmin & Esther helped us in all possible ways. The break fast is extensive, with lots of choice in fresh fruits, overnight oat and all kinds of egg. The casita with private roof top pool is truly impeccable and value for money. We had a great stay.
