Here’s what I love about the location — you’re positioned perfectly on Carretera Boca Paila, which means you can walk to those postcard-perfect beach clubs without needing to rent a bike or flag down a taxi every time. The hotel zone here is where couples especially seem to thrive (and honestly, the 9.2 location rating from couples makes total sense when you see how romantic the sunset views are from this stretch). You know what’s really convenient? There’s free parking right on-site, which is actually a big deal since many places along this strip either don’t have it or charge extra for it.

The Room Experience

My room had that perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort that Tulum does so well when it’s done right. The design feels intentionally simple — think natural materials, plenty of light, and those little touches that remind you you’re in Mexico without being heavy-handed about it. What I really appreciated was how well the air conditioning worked (trust me, this matters more than you think), and the Wi-Fi was actually reliable enough to get some work done when I needed to.

The American breakfast they serve is solid — nothing groundbreaking, but it hits the spot when you’re planning a full day of beach time or cenote hopping. I mean, sometimes you just want familiar flavors before diving into all the incredible local food options that Tulum has to offer. The on-site restaurant has this laid-back energy that works whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a longer meal with drinks. The staff here genuinely seems to enjoy what they’re doing, which creates this easy, unhurried atmosphere that makes you want to linger.

You can easily strike up conversations with other travelers if you’re in the mood, but there are also plenty of quiet corners when you want to just read a book or decompress.   The property was well taken care of and everything was nice and close together between rooms beach and activities. I loved the free yoga in the morning right down by the beach and ocean ! We also took in the tezmacal experience and it was very new and very different but we enjoyed it.

  The shared room is very confortable, with the toilet inside the room is very practical i found it to change clothes and shower without leaving the room!

  Location on the beach, the vibe of Selina is so great!! You get your sunbed at the beach. They have activities for you and you make lots of friends

  The location was perfect. It was really in the perfect spot of Zona Hotelera, so many beach clubs and restaurants could reached by foot.
  We also liked that we felt very safe in the hotel, as there was security all the time.
  Room was also very spacious and the AC was working perfectly (which meant A LOT with the humidity).
