Vida Boho Apart 16 with special fee to access Hotel Bardo Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Vida Boho Apart 16 with special fee to access Hotel Bardo feels like discovering a hidden gem that perfectly captures Tulum’s bohemian spirit. This four-star property sits right in the heart of Tulum City Centre, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better — you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the chaos to actually relax. The whole vibe here is laid-back sophistication, which I mean, that’s exactly what you want in Tulum.
The Apartment Experience
What sets this place apart is that you’re getting an apartment experience with hotel perks — specifically access to Hotel Bardo’s facilities, which is actually a pretty sweet deal. The room itself has this wonderful boho-chic aesthetic that doesn’t feel forced or Instagram-fake. You know what I really appreciated? The space feels lived-in and comfortable, not like a sterile hotel box. There’s a proper kitchen setup too, which comes in handy when you want to prep some fresh fruit from the local markets or make coffee exactly how you like it.
Location Perks
The location really is something special — recent guests rated it 8.5, and I can see why. You’re walking distance from Tulum’s best cenotes, and the beach zone is just a quick bike ride away (which, let’s be honest, is the only way to get around here anyway). What couples seem to love most is that you can easily explore the ruins in the morning, grab lunch at one of those amazing beachfront spots, and still make it back for an afternoon siesta. The parking situation is sorted too — free and private, which might not sound exciting but trust me, you’ll appreciate it when you see other places charging for street parking.
Hotel Bardo Access
Here’s where things get interesting — that special fee for Hotel Bardo access is actually worth it. You get to use their restaurant and common areas, which feels like having a membership to an exclusive club. The pool area there is gorgeous, perfect for those late afternoon swims when the day heat starts to mellow out. I spent quite a bit of time there just reading and people-watching, and the staff treats you like you’re staying at a much more expensive place.
Why Guests Love It
With a 9.2 rating, this place clearly hits the mark for most visitors. Couples especially seem drawn to it — they rated the location 9.0 for romantic getaways, and I can totally understand why. There’s something about having your own space but with hotel amenities that just works perfectly for a Tulum trip. You get the independence to explore at your own pace, plus the comfort of knowing there’s always somewhere beautiful to return to. The whole setup feels authentically Tulum without being pretentious about it, which honestly can be hard to find in this town these days.
Tulum’s apartments welcome families with shaded play patios, quick cenote drives, and easy access to eco-parks.

I had a fantastic stay at Vida. Mariana goes out of her way to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The staff is on top of cleaning, maintaining and keeping the building secure. A great value with complimentary bikes that we used daily. The perfect combination of jungle and luxury with access to Bardo’s pool and daily Yoga. A gem in TULUM.

From a self catering perspective the property had everything you needed to save money by cooking for yourself ( tulums expensive) . The property was very spacious and well decorated , it even offers a rooftop space to catch some rays as you read a book . There’s a hotel within walking distance which is fantastic, it offers a great pool and a chill out area to use .

I had a wonderful time here! The hotel is peaceful, and the apartments are so chic and cozy. The bed was really comfortable and working from the room was really nice. I have to specifically mention Sergio, who was kind and responsive throughout my stay and helped me quickly with everything I needed. The access to Hotel Bardo is an AMAZING addition, I highly recommend it 🙂

The apartment was definitely a highlight of our stay! Located in a perfect location just close enough to town but not close enough to be part of the chaos, we loved spending the times in between adventures just hanging in the cozy living room and upstairs in the pools! The kitchen had everything we needed and a super bonus was that we had bikes to use as well! Jessica was extremely helpful and was very quick to communicate and answer any questions we had. I wouldn't have wanted to stay at any other place during our stay in Tulum!

Super cute and cozy and the pools were perfect. Loved starting our mornings with coffee on the little balcony then working around the apartment and taking rooftop pool breaks.

Stylish & spacious apartment with big bed and balcony. The roof top was basically private and a lovely place to chill.

Beautiful property with three mini rooftop pools. Rooms are clean and new. It’s away from the busy roads, not a problem if you drive/cycle, very quiet for a good sleep. Daily yoga at nearby Hotel Bardo is a big plus (150 peso to the hotel + donation to teachers). Jessica was super helpful during the stay, many thanks!

We loved the decor of the apartment, certainly Boho vibes and the shower was very good and the little balcony that felt like you were nestled in the jungle.
The rooftop pool and bbq area was a beautiful addition
The addition of using bicycles, such a great way to get around
Access to Bardo was brilliant and certainly worth it, there was a minimum consumption but we utilised going there on our first and last day and loved the relaxation
Easy communication with the concierge staff via whatsapp
