The moment you step onto the property, there’s this immediate sense of luxury that doesn’t feel forced or overdone, just naturally elegant in that effortless way that really good hotels manage to pull off.

What struck me most about this place is how it sits right in Tulum’s hotel zone sweet spot. You’re close enough to bike into town for dinner (though honestly, you might not want to leave), but far enough out that you get that proper jungle-meets-Caribbean vibe without the crowds. The property backs right up to some seriously pristine beach, and I mean the kind where you can actually hear the waves from your room at night. The whole setup feels intimate — this isn’t one of those massive resorts where you’re just another face in the crowd.

The rooms here are something else, and I don’t say that lightly. Each one feels like a private retreat with these gorgeous natural materials — think polished concrete, local woods, and these amazing floor-to-ceiling windows that basically disappear the line between inside and outside. The bathrooms are particularly impressive, with rainfall showers that open to private garden spaces. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail — proper blackout curtains for when you want to sleep in, but also the option to wake up with the jungle sounds if that’s your thing.

The American breakfast here is actually quite good, which honestly surprised me since I was expecting something more typically Mexican. They’ve got this restaurant that serves throughout the day, and while the menu isn’t huge, everything I tried was thoughtfully prepared. The coffee situation is solid too — important when you’re dealing with those early morning beach walks. I found myself spending a lot of time in the common areas, which have this relaxed luxury feel that makes you want to linger over meals rather than rush off to the next activity.

Why Guests Love It

Look, I get why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something genuinely romantic about the whole setup without it being cheesy about it. The 9.7 rating makes sense when you experience how well everything works together. The staff seems to understand that luxury here means being left alone when you want privacy but having everything you need readily available. Plus, there’s parking right on-site, which might not sound glamorous but trust me, it matters when you’re exploring the Riviera Maya. This is the kind of place where you can disappear for a few days and actually disconnect, which is increasingly rare these days.

  היה פשוט מושלם מרגע הכניסה עד היציאה המלון חוויה בלתי נשכחת, צוות מדהים עמד לכל בקשה והכל ברמה ובצורה הטובה ביותר! אפילו את הארוחת בוקר קיבלנו עד החדר ולא הפסיקו לפנק פירות ויין! חדר מדהים ענק עם בריכה פרטית ממש חלום, רצינו לקחת עוד כמה ימים אבל לא היה מקום, קרוב ביותר למרכז ולכל המסיבות עניין של 5 דק׳ הליכה וחד משמעית שווה את זה! לכל מה שמגיע לעולים לא לוותר על החדר הזה!!!!!
