Aldea Zama is where you want to be if you’re planning a romantic getaway in Tulum — and trust me, couples really do love this area. You’re close enough to bike to the ruins (about 10 minutes) and the beach clubs, but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night. The parking situation here is fantastic too, which might not sound exciting but you’ll appreciate it when you’re trying to explore cenotes or drive to Playa del Carmen for the day.

The room I stayed in had this incredible indoor-outdoor flow that makes you feel connected to the jungle without sacrificing comfort. Floor-to-ceiling windows, natural stone details, and honestly some of the most comfortable bedding I’ve encountered in Mexico.   The internal garden area is absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious and the staff were great. There are good bar/restaurant facilities on site and the hotel felt very safe. The pool area on the roof is awesome!

  We loved the ambiance, the food, and easy access to the concierge. There was always someone there to help us. It was a very clean resort and the apartment was beautiful. Nice and cool! Fast delivery for all food, whether you were in the restaurant or ordering room service. We took beautiful pictures beside the pool! Beautiful place!
