Mi Amor Boutique Hotel-Adults Only Overview

You know what, Mi Amor Boutique Hotel-Adults Only is one of those places that honestly gets everything right when it comes to creating a romantic escape in Cozumel. I mean, the name says it all – this 5-star gem is strictly for grown-ups, and they’ve really leaned into that concept in the best possible way. The moment you walk through those doors, there’s this immediate sense of tranquility that’s hard to find at other resorts on the island. The staff here genuinely seems to care about your experience (I’ve stayed at plenty of places where you can tell they’re just going through the motions), and the check-in process is refreshingly smooth – no long lines of families with crying kids, obviously.

What really struck me about this place is how they’ve managed to create intimate spaces without making you feel cramped. Each room has this gorgeous view of either the ocean or their beautifully maintained gardens, and honestly, the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in the Caribbean. The linens feel expensive – you know that crisp, cool cotton that makes you want to stay in bed an extra hour? The bathrooms are spacious too, with rainfall showers that actually have decent water pressure (always a gamble in Mexico, let’s be real). If you’re planning to do any cooking, well, you’ll want to head to their hotel restaurant instead because the focus here is really on pampering rather than self-catering – though room service is excellent if you want to dine on your balcony.

The location puts you close enough to San Miguel’s main drag that you can easily walk to Parque Benito Juárez when you want some local flavor, but far enough from the cruise ship chaos near the Punta Langosta pier. Parking isn’t really an issue since most guests either walk or take quick taxi rides around the island – though if you do rent a car, they’ve got you covered. The spa here deserves special mention because they use locally sourced ingredients in their treatments, and I swear their couples massage overlooking the water is worth the splurge. Summer months can get pretty busy (and humid, obviously), but even then, the adults-only policy keeps things relatively serene. The only minor downside? The pool area can get a bit crowded during peak afternoon hours, but honestly, that’s when you should be exploring the incredible reefs just offshore anyway. The sound of waves hitting the nearby coral formations creates this constant, gentle white noise that’ll have you sleeping better than you have in months.

Reviews of Mi Amor Boutique Hotel-Adults Only

honestly AMAZING! the amount you pay is so good for the facilities, room, service and grounds. Most hotels in this area are really expensive but this I think is great value for your money. everyone was so lovely and attentive and you really felt like you were taken care of. little touches like different hot teas left on your bed every night and the welcome drink really made it 5 star. would recommend for couples who want a romantic getaway. also happy hour love it!

  • Shoham from Israel (9/10)

The room I got was "pool side" room and it was spacious, convinient and beautiful, with a beautiful bathroom and beautiful view. The service was great and they brought complimentary tea in the afternoon.
The restaurant in the hotel is expensive (similar prices of typical Tel Aviv restraunts) but the food was very very good!

  • Hannah from United Kingdom (8/10)

It was lovely being in the national park and the staff were great! Being in the national park meant we could visit the ruins and beaches really easily. It was nice to hire bikes and cycle around these areas. It was also nice to wake up to the sound of the waves and be right by the sea. We also asked to borrow yoga mats and as we had the sea view apartment we could look right at the view while excersising! We also got some tea every night delivered to our room which was very nice

I love everything from the room to the common areas to the view fromt the cabanas.

  • Arnoutv from Belgium (10/10)

The miss luxury hotel I've ever been in, at a very good price (I could use a promotion). The basics are all there: comfortable bed, large room, well furnished bathroom with good shower, many electrical outlets, decent WiFi. And then there are the little extras that make it special, like the beds on the shore or the tea they bring to your room in the evening (a different kind of tea for every day). And if course super helpful staff and great views. Oh, and a good restaurant.

The food was amazing and well-priced. Nightly tea and chocolate drop offs along with twice daily cleanings made were appreciated. The staff as endlessly helpful and friendly.

  • Andrea from United States (10/10)

Great location away from the noisy main strip in the National Park. Felt safe and very clean inside the park and the hotel was beautifully kept and gorgeous views.
